Offset Paper Making Machine Process

 

1. Pulp preparation: Wood pulp or recycled fiber is refined and mixed with fillers, dyes, and additives.
2. Sheet forming: The fiber suspension is distributed onto a moving forming wire.
3. Pressing: Water is removed mechanically.
4. Drying: Steam-heated dryer cylinders remove remaining moisture.
5. Surface sizing or coating: Improves ink absorption, strength, and print quality.
6. Calendering: Controls smoothness, thickness, and gloss.
7. Reeling and cutting: Paper is wound into reels or cut into sheets.
